The “Nea Thalpi” Elderly and Physically Ill Care Unit is located at the centre of the green suburb of Aghios Stefanos, just 20 kilometers north of the centre of Athens.
The ideal location of the “Nea Thalpi” allows you to visit us ALL YEAR ROUND every day from 9 am until 9 pm by train, bus or car making a visit from any point of Attica and the surrounding region an enjoyable ride.

From the highway:
Coming from the National Athens-Lamia Highway with direction towards Lamia turn right at the “Aghios Stefanos” exit. At the junction, turn right and continue straight ahead after the traffic light. Approximately 2 km later, there is a signposted to ‘Kentro Aghiou Stefanou” that sends you left alongside the railway lines. This road is called Leoforos Marathonos. We are on your right at number 8 just before the train station.
From Kifisias Avenue:
Coming from Kifisias Avenue, go north to Kifisia. From a point on, the road name changes to Leoforos Thiseos. Continue straight accross Nea Erithrea, passing Ekali, Drosia, leaving Super Market “Sklavenitis” on your left hand at Anixi, until you see the sign “Kentro Aghiou Stefanou”. There you turn right alongside the railway lines. This road is called Leoforos Marathonos. “Nea Thalpi “is located 100 meters later, just before you reach the train station, at number 8.
If you like to travel by train you may use the Suburban railway which leaves from Piraeus, the Athens station (Larissa Station) or the Halkida Station to reach “Nea Thalpi” quickly, easily, inexpensively and hassle free. From the Kifissia Square near the metro station there are three buses that stop right outside “Nea Thalpi “(Marathonos Bus Stop). Buses are: 508 Zirineio-Ag. Stefanos , 509 Zirineio Kryoneri- 535 -Zirineio Efx. Pontos (Round Building).
